The CCC Experience will take you on a tour of the finest museums and galleries that display our rich heritage

THE BRITISH MUSEUM

An ideal starting place for your tour. This Museum became a magnet for all the treasures 'obtained' by the British Empire . Key exhibits include the infamous Elgin Marbles, the Egyptian Hall & the Sutton Hoo treasures. The building also houses the British Library where Karl Marx plotted capitalism's downfall - a fitting setting don't you think!

THE NATURAL HISTORY MUSEUM

The Museum promotes discovery and enjoyment of the natural world. Of particular interest is The Darwin Centre. You will be taken on a fascinating tour, examining many of the specimens he collected.

THE V & A MUSEUM This museum showcases fabulous collections of design and the arts. The collections span two thousand years, in virtually every medium, from all over the world. Whatever your interest the V & A has something for you - From Gucci to Medici; from stained glass to fibreglass

The Gallery's collection of Western European paintings spans the period from c.1250 to 1900. Its subjects reflect the history, religion and myths of the region. Everyone's favourite artist is to be found here. From da Vinci, Titian, Valazquez, Rembrandt, and Van Gogh

THE NATIONAL PORTRAIT GALLERY

Here you can view the great, the good, and the not so good, captured on canvas and film. Its subjects range from the Beatles to the Bronte sisters. The collection is the most comprehensive of its kind in the world.

THE TATE MODERN

This collection of modern art is aptly housed in a former power station. Here, you will find something designed to delight, enlighten and offend everyone who enters. It houses works by Dali, Picasso, Rothko, and more recent works by artists such as Hirst.
